FINAL POST!

This year is coming to its end so I would like to make a post describing my feelings and my worries about my 1st year as a student. I started this year facing many problems like living alone in a new country, jumping from the school rules to the university.

At first, on my projects I wasn't so focused, because I didn't know what to do, how to present my ideas and what exactly my tutors were asking from me. After many workshops and projects and with the help of my tutors I started taking higher marks. My work was more powerful and much more interesting.

Even on my blog you can see the difference. It started as a page which was updated every 2 weeks.

Now the links are more to the point and the comments about my work are more professional.

I think that I developed myself a lot this year and I hope during next year I will start more confident and more focused on my subject. Hope you all enjoyed my blog!!!

Pattern

I am thinking to use this pattern as a cover of a Graphic Design magazine.
I find very interesting this image I feel it has something very strong.
The red colour gives a feel of strength.
Maybe it is going to be a great idea for my book.
The white lines and some text that this image has, are very confusing but on the same hand they are very well structured because they make the image very interesting to the viewer.

Alcoholism

This is a self project that I am doing about alcoholism.
It is not finished yet because of the book project that I'm doing but I think that it is a nice idea and I'll develop it after the end of my final project in the university.
This is one of the 6 pictures that I am creating.

CHECH IT!!!

Check the interview on the link that I post
(WorldSkills Nationals - Brisbane 2010 - Graphic design technology).
Really interesting!!!

Photography!!!

(London 3.23 am)

This is the view from my room.
I like the colours on the sky and the way that the shadows are changed.

StencilS

These are the stencils that I did during the stencil workshop.
I tried to create 2 sketches and one of them in tracing paper.
I think that creating stencils in cards rather than normal paper works better, because when you are going to use the colour (e.g sprays) the normal paper will be destroyed.
I enjoyed this workshop and I think it will be a great chapter in my book.

Camouflage

During the camouflage workshop we had as an exercise to use a picture that we had already take from something around london and use the camouflage effect on it.
So, I decided to take a picture of a building in E&C and transported it into a tree.
So, this is my final outcome.
I enjoyed it a lot as I found really clever the process that you need to make in order to create your final outcome.
